In this program we will bring you our PANW reports on developments in Africa and throughout the Diaspora.

The second hour continues our Voices From History segment examining the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in honor of the upcoming 86th anniversary of his birth on Jan. 15, 1929. This broadcast highlights the Selma to Montgomery March in light of the soon to be released film "Selma."

The final hour looks at the Watts Rebellion which occurred just a few days after the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

Later we continue our reflections on the urban rebellions during the period which coincided with Dr. King's final years, this time focusing on Newark in July 1967.
