This program will present our regular PANW reports dealing with events in the Central African Republic, Libya, Sudan, the anti-racist struggle in the United States and other issues.

In the second hour we continue our Voices from History segment examining the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. coming up on the 86th anniversary of his birth Jan. 15.

The federally-recognized holiday is being held on Mon. Jan. 19, where in Detroit, the location we are broadcasting from, the MLK Committee will host the 12th Annual MLK Day Rally & March starting at Noon at Central United Methodist Church located on Woodward avenue and East Adams in downtown Detroit.

The event draws on the social justice and anti-war legacy of Dr. King and is the largest gathering of progressive forces in southeastern Michigan at the beginning of every year.
