Meeting Held to Mark Anniversary of KCSWP
A meeting was held in Pyongyang on May 17 to mark the 43rd anniversary of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with the World People (KCSWP).

Present there were officials of the KCSWP, the National Peace Committee of Korea, the Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea, the Korean Committee for Afro-Asian Solidarity, the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and other social organizations and Pyongyang citizens and honorary guests.

At the meeting a reporter and speakers noted that the KCSWP has conducted brisk activities at home and abroad to defuse the tension on the Korean peninsula and achieve the independent reunification of the country over the past years.

They denounced the US and its followers for their recent vicious anti-DPRK moves pushing the situation of the peninsula to the worst phase.

They called upon the progressives of the world, international democratic organizations, committees for supporting the reunification of Korea and solidarity organizations that love independence, justice and peace to resolutely reject the US hostile policy toward the DPRK and turn out in the vigorous struggle for peace and security of the Korean peninsula, Northeast Asia and the rest of the world and the prosperity common to mankind.

At the end of the meeting, the participants looked round photos introducing the activities of the KCSWP.
